Every long-term resident is treated as an individual, and their personal and medical needs and preferences are taken into consideration when developing their plan of care. Each resident is evaluated by our interdisciplinary team to personalize their plan and to accommodate their medical, nursing, social services and psychological support, activities of daily living and mobility, rehabilitation and nutrition needs. And, our team works together with the resident and family. At Grandell we believe that family involvement is a crucial factor in a patient’s well being. We welcome family and visitors between 10 am to 8 pm, as well as family participation at the interdisciplinary care team meetings for their loved one and the quarterly family council meetings.

Rehabilitation and nursing care is provided to our residents based on their physician’s orders. We offer Dental, Podiatry and Optometry, Psychiatry and Psychology services on-site, and skilled nursing care including Respiratory Care, IV Therapy, Diabetes Care and Wound Care. We have an extensive physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy program at Grandell, which are provided to our residents as per doctor orders and Medicare guidelines.
